Set in Lillehammer and within 1.2 km of Maihaugen, Lillehammer Stasjonen Hostel has a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The design of the room was cozy and comfortable with everything I needed. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is great, it took me a while to figure out that it is inside the train station - but it was super comfortable to come and go and travel in the city just by walking (I came on a Christian Holyday so there was no public transportation in town). And it also looks very beautiful from the outside.

I was able to do laundry the night that I arrived and was pleased to have access to a kitchen, kettle, and good internet. I was traveling by train and it was a bit far from the station, but the host was kind enough to drive me on arrival and to my destination (Ringebu Stave Church) in the morning. The area is beautiful.
