You will feel at home. Kitchen is big and has everything you need. Common areas are comfy. Cafeteria is beautiful. Staff and volunteers work as a team. Coffee and breakfast is s delight. Verten, Jonathan, ga oss gode tips om hva vi se i og utenfor byen, hvilke cenotes han anbefalte. Han hadde scooterutleie så vi kom oss til cenotes (cenote Xcanahaltun og cenote Secreto Maya). Spør Jonathan om tips! Frukosten var fantastisk. Uteområdet var stille, behagelig og fint sted å slappe av. Så helt greit ut på booking.no, men ble så imponert når vi kom dit.

It has a really good price for what they offer. The location is not in the city centre but you can definitely walk to the centre. There are some small shops and a supermarket close. There's a pool which was essential for the warm weather. And the guests and staff were very friendly.

HOSTEL VALLADOLID 48 features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Valladolid. Awesome staff, helped me rent a scooter, gave all the info and recommendations I needed. I locked in by bag in the dorm locker and lost my key, they had to break the locker and actually charged me nothing for my stupidity! Pool is cozy and clean, kitchen facilities are simple but sufficient. Great to meet other traveller to plan and do things together! Awesome hostel!

Hostellet lå sentralt og det var gåavstand til så og si alt i sentrum. Kun 3 minutters gange til bussterminalen! Hostellet hadde fine fasiliteter med basseng og hengekøyer i fellesområdet. Badet var rent til alle tider og dusjene var gode de også.

Located in Valladolid, Yucatán region, Hostal Las Cruces is set 45 km from Chichen Itza. With free WiFi, this 2-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. I got in a little late and the person that checked me in was very welcoming and helpful. He even practiced Spanish with me, but spoke English as well. He gave me advice about driving in Mexico and let me know what the max speed was when there is no sign (110KM/Hr) which was very helpful. They had a pretty good breakfast that they made for you. Eggs, toast, fruit and a couple choices for a drink like coffee, Horchata and I think Jimaica. They also was a water jug as well if you wanted water. This was my favorite Hostel that I stayed at and I stayed at 5 other hostels during this trip. There was parking right outside of he hostel on the opposite side of the street. There were plenty of places to park. There were a couple of food carts that were close by and reasonably priced. I think it was $25.00 pesos for a torta. Cenote Suytun is about a 15 minute drive away 8.9km (this one is famous for the stone walkway that leads into the middle of the cenote). Cenote Oxman is about a 10 minute drive 5.9km from the Hostal Las Cruces and Cenote Samula and Xkeken which you have to put in Google Maps as Cenote Dzitnup is about 12 minutes away 9.4km. Cenote Samula and Xkeken are about a 7 minute drive from Cenote Oxman. I liked Cenote Oxman the best because of the rope that you can swing on over the water. So the hostel is conveniently located to go to the cenotes or see other stuff in the downtown area. I would highly recommend staying at this hostel. It was clean and bed was good as well.
