Located within 700 metres of Laos National Museum and 1.4 km of Wat Sisaket, House Of Jars provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Vientiane. I have been traveling for one year in SE Asia and this is the best hostel I've stayed in. Super nice staff, great coffee, comfy bed, good shower and nice little café. Also, great wi-fi. I could teach my online classes here, even though I suggest going to coffee shops nearby to vary the environment a little.

I stayed in many space pods and this one was one of the best. Comfortable and clean bed, small folding table inside, cool design. Big locker located outside of the room which is good decision — less noise. Good showers, always have hot water. Yummy breakfast for a small price — I tried 3 types, all was good. Cute cats and billiard give this place extra points. Good location as well, nearby great food night market.

Set in Vientiane, 1 km from Laos National Museum, Vientiane Garden Hostel offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The receptionist who work there most of the time was very accommodating, friendly and easy to talk to. I want to recommend this hostel to all filipino and non filipino who like to travel Vientiane Laos for intention of getting a visa at Thai Royal Embassy. Affordable, clean and friendly? This hostel is for you. Although the place is not too close from the Embassy but a tuktuk(tricycle) fee for transportation from the hostel is fine. The stay is affordable included breakfast. The rooms are kept clean as well. That is why I can tell that I don’t have regrets staying here at all.

Fantastic cafe/bar communal space, big private bed areas, special 1920s theme, helpful staff to book onward travel, free bike hire, drinks vouchers.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It's in a great location, close to the center, so you can easily walk there and explore the area. There are some nice bars around the hostel, too. Plus, it's just a 5-minute walk to the center, where there's even more to see. There are two really good pizza places nearby as well. The breakfast provided by the host was very tasty, and they also offered plenty of food options at good prices in their restaurant. The staff is friendly and can help with everything, making the stay even more pleasant. I recommend this hostel because it's a great deal for the price and location. The beds are comfortable, and there's a small area where you can work or play billiards.

Sailomyen Hostel features a loft design accommodation complete with an in-house cafe on the ground floor where coffee is served. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast looks like hotel breakfast and not a hostel one. People at the reception were super friendly.
