I didn't know much Korean Language but the staff was very friendly and seemed to have a lot of love for their job. Most of the other guests were families so it felt like a warm place. The bedroom was so spacious that I was surprised they didn't put another bed on it. The breakfast was lively with everyone gathering on the big table. I stayed alone but it didn't felt lonely because of that. You can eat by the terrace if you want a calmer experience seeing the sea and the city starting to move. There is a night 3D show of light and fireworks that is one of the main attractions of the town and you can watch it from the terrace, with a nice view of the sunrise too. You can easily walk from the station. The neighborhood is quite calm and have many cats.

Spacious, recently renovated and beautifully decorated room. Great facilities such as the kitchen and laundry machine. Lovely common area with board games provided. Friendly staff. Great location - on a quiet street with good restaurants, stores and public transportation options in the vicinity. Very good overall value. Thank you very much for your hospitality - I felt very comfortable and wish I could have stayed longer!

Set in Yeosu, within 4.6 km of Chungminsa Temple and 4.6 km of Seokcheon Buddhist Temple, Flora hostelpension offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for... The location was unprepossessing as we approached, but in fact it is very convenient for the local black-sand beach and Yeosu, and our rooms had a view out to sea over the harbour. There's a convenience store a short walk along the road. The self-catering units are modern, comfortable, well-equipped and spotlessly clean, simply but thoughtfully furnished in Korean style (bed with mattress, but low dining table and no chairs). The soundproofing shuts out all traffic noise. It's clearly a family business and we received a cheerful welcome in spite of some confusion about the nature of the booking. We couldn't have wished for a better end to a long day's touring.

Sea Star Hostel is located 2.6 km north of The Ocean Water Park in Yeosu. The hostel offers private guest rooms with sea views and free WiFi access. Wonderful room - very spacious, great view over the bay, very comfortable bed, fantastic bathroom. Good facilities in the lobby - microwave, fridge, etc. Having the shop on site is super-handy and had a good selection of food and drink. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful, and there is a cute cat on site. I absolutely loved the area - it was more peaceful as it is across the bay from the big hotels, providing a beautiful cityscape view as dusk falls. Lovely to sit by the water and watch the fishing boats, and it was fascinating exploring the immediate vicinity and watching them process the catches. Loads of options for eating out/takeaways nearby. Make sure you go for a walk along the promenade to watch the sea life. Really wish I could have stayed longer but I was booked on a flight to Jeju. Short taxi rides to airport/train station.

Located in Yeosu, less than 1 km from Tarubi Monument, Dadam Guesthouse provides air-conditioned rooms and a terrace. The beds have a heating mattress 😂! That was awesome during the cold nights in march. The room and bathroom are big enough, you have a lot room to store your stuff and a fridge. The breakfast is self service - there is a kitchen, where toast, ham, cheese, eggs and spreads are provided (as well as milk, coffee and tea). You just agree on your breakfast time the day before, as there is only limited space for seating. The host was really nice, too. The location is also great for exploring the city - so definitely recommended.

Set on the western skirts of Jirisan Mountain, Nogodan Guesthouse and Hotel offers both private and dormitory-style rooms. Very clean guesthouse, well decorated and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and the food was good ! Surrounded by the mountains it was very calm. Recommend it for ones who like to hike in the mountains.
