The hostel has a nice style, all was clean and the beds are unbelievable comfortable (honestly, it might have been the most comfortable bed that I've ever stayed in). The location is prime (less than 10 minutes to Izumo Taisha Shrine and 20 minutes to the beach). I loved staying at Masa's hostel. He is a very kind soul. Extremely friendly and welcoming. Communication in English worked good with a little help of Google translator. Highly recommend this place!

Situated in Masuda, 36 km from Taikodani Inari Shrine, ゲストハウス＆カフェ ハレテル features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. I chose this location because it was right off the water. I was on an overnight bicycling trip and wanted someplace affordable and clean. This far met my expectations. The Food in the cafe was incredible, I would recommend the cafe even if you don't stay there. The owners were amazing. My Japanese is not as good as it should be but we communicated well. I enjoyed the conversations with them, I felt very welcome staying there. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an overnight or a weekend along the Masuda coast. I am looking forward to going back.

Set in Yasugi, 一棟貸し切り ゲストハウス Sai features a garden, shared lounge, BBQ facilities, and free WiFi throughout the property. The house is spacious, with everything you need from kitchen facilities, games available and very very comfortable beds. An ideal location close to the station, it was great for our 1 night's stay (we visited the Adachi Art Museum).
