Set in Motobu, 700 metres from Anchihama Beach, Hostel Mosura no Tamago offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Very interesting blend of hostel and hotel. Bedrooms, bathrooms, showers were all very private and the only interactions with others were in hallways and kitchen/ living room. Amazingly and unexpectedly clean. Breakfast was perfectly simple and balanced.

Located just a 12-minute drive from Cape Maeda, famous for its beautiful scenery, clear waters and snorkelling, Holiday House Ryukyu-an "MUSIC HOSTEL" offers a self-catering holiday home with free... I loved everything about this place!! The facilities are spacious and well designed, the breakfasts are wonderful, you can use bikes and snorkel equipment for free, and the owner is friendly and kind. The place has a friendly and easygoing atmosphere that is uncommon in many hostels and it is basically impossible not to meet kind people and make friends :) Best of all, there are very few rules, and you can use the hostel like a regular person. This is easily one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at and I could have stayed longer!

It stays very close to the beach and inside a very friendly village. Staff are super friendly and the dinner party is so great to meet people and try food around.

Set in Motobu, 2.1 km from Emerald Beach, Mambo Hostel Okinawa offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. This Hostel was amazing. The design was very welcoming and nature focused which is something that I love. Because of its location you have nature all around you and the atmosphere is very peaceful, me and my friends would spend hours relaxing in a hammock listening to the sounds of birds and crickets. During my stay while my friends chose to stay in the shared rooms, which were also really beautiful and clean, I chose a private room which was to my surprise enormous with a private balcony that takes half of the whole second floor, totally worth it! The location is also 20 minutes walking distance from the Okinawa aquarium which is a nice plus, there’s also a beach next to it but we couldn’t go swimming because swimming season starts in April. The staff was exceptional, no doubts about it. She event prepared us dinner and answered any questions we had very openly and with a smile. To be honest we were kind of sad to say goodbye because although we only stayed for two nights it felt a little bit like home. I’m hopping I could visit again.

Boasting garden views, Akachichi Guesthouse features accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around a 7-minute walk from Maeda Cape. A small guesthouse with a homey vibe and a lot of love for details. Every morning we got a great breakfast set served on the terrace in a beautiful green garden. The room was quiet, clean, spacious with 2 beds, a small table, 2 comfy chairs and a hanger for clothes. They offer daily roomservice. Kenny and Komaki are very friendly and helpful hosts and gave us great recommendations. It is located near cape maeda. There is a brilliant plant-based restaurant in 3 min walking distance, an Italian place and another café. In about 7min walking distance is the cape for snorkeling or diving and 4 small beautiful beaches.

Ideally situated in the Naha City Centre district of Naha, The Kitchen Hostel Ao is situated 4.7 km from Tamaudun Mausoleum, 20 km from Nakagusuku Castle and 22 km from Sefa Utaki. The location, the amenities in the bathroom, the place was kept very clean and the fact that the lockers are outside of the room in their own space so you don't make any noise when you or others are packing. The beds are also comfortable if you like a firm mattress which I do :) when you close your curtain it's also dark enough to sleep and it feels cosy

Ideally set in the Naha City Centre district of Naha, Santiago Guesthouse Naha is situated 5.2 km from Tamaudun Mausoleum, 21 km from Nakagusuku Castle and 22 km from Sefa Utaki. Everything was perfect! Perfect location, kitchen ready to make meals, very attentive and super friendly staff and super comfortable mattress. Thank you for the Brazilian staff, I felt at home! Arigato gozaimasu

Situated in Ishigaki Island, 1.3 km from Painuhama Artificial Beach, HOSTEL SunTerrace Ishigaki features accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking and a terrace. The location is perfect, 5 mins to the town center and less than 10mins to the ferry terminal. Perfectly clean throughout the whole hostel and helpful, friendly staff to assist with any questions you may have. This was my second stay here and I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in Ishigaki.
