Located in Kumamoto, 2.3 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei, Tudzura provides air-conditioned rooms and a bar. We were hosted by very friendly and forthcoming hosts in a very beautiful place. We can only recommend and would definitely come back.

Owners speak very good English, helped me a lot with planning my trip, super clean, good kitchen and very comfortable common space with a cozy kotatsu

Set in Minami Aso, 32 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, Momiji hostel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Our stay at Momiji was great! The old Japanese house was warm and homey and the hosts were kind and welcoming. Two cats were a bonus. Dinner at the Thai restaurant was exceptional and highly recommended! I would be back anytime and ideally would stay for longer!

Set in Tamana, 20 km from Hirayama Hot Spring, HIKE offers air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was large and clean. Our room was the family room with a decent sized playhouse inside where the kids play and even sleep. The building is old, but has been remodeled and is comfortable. The baked goods in the cafe on the 1st floor are delicious, and the cafe is whimsical and charming. There’s a kid’s playroom at the back of the cafe which was great for us, a group with lots of kids. There are also many ceramic wares by local artists for sale. I’d like to visit when the weather is cooler and explore the neighborhood.

Surrounded by beautiful nature in the Minami Aso area, this hostel features free property-wide WiFi, free-use bicycles and the shared lounge area. Barbecue facilities can be used. The staff, the peace of being in the mountain with some temples around
