Set in Toyooka, 2.5 km from Kinumaki Shrine, KINOSAKI KNOT offers air-conditioned rooms and a shared lounge. The guest house is located in a quiet corner but very near to the main street. Common area and the room were very clean, the futon was really comfortable as well.. Affordable yukata rental comes with good selection of design and Kotani-san (the staff) teaching us how to fold the furoshiki bag. 😄 He speaks fluent English and is absolutely helpful, giving us recommendations around Kinosaki. We thorougly enjoyed our stay! Thank you! ❤️

Set in Toyooka, 11 km from Soun-ji Temple, Toyooka guesthouse Hostel Act offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. After staying in both chain and independent hostels in Japan, and elsewhere in the world, I have to say this was my favourite hostel experience. It truly felt like my friend and I had just been invited to a family member's home to stay for the night. It was such a lovely and cozy experience! The decor is whimsical, the kitchen is well-stocked, the showers and facilities are fantastic, and the room we stayed in was tatami and lovely. Whenever I am in the Toyooka area again, I will be returning to stay at Hostel Act :)

Beautiful hostel. Loved playing the piano. The rooms were cosy. The kitchen was clean. Above a famous donut cafe so smelt delicious. Self check in but you can WhatsApp the number anytime. Staff very helpful and helped make restaurant booking for Kobe steak. Very lovely place

Very friendly host and good dinner and drinks as well! Great little town - recommended for family if you like Tatami style lodging in a historic old building

TONARINO Hostel for Backpackers is in a prime location in the centre of Kobe, and provides a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. the staff was very nice, and I loved all the cute notes throughout the hostel. excellent location as well. make sure you arrive early, because beds are first come-first serve when it comes to choosing which bed you want. I arrived right when check-in starts and got an amazingly comfortable bed!

Offering a sun terrace and views of the city, T and K Hostel Kobe Sannomiya East is 10 minutes from Sannomiya Station by foot and train. Certain rooms include a seating area where you can relax. Loved this hostel. The couple that runs this place are amazing people. They were very accommodating and were very patient when I tried to speak some Japanese with them. This place is a good alternative to staying in Osaka, as osaka hotels can be expensive and booked up. If we return to Osaka area, we will 100% stay here again. Beds are comfortable, very spacious dorms, kitchen has everything you need to cook, and plenty of bathrooms and showers. Enjoyed our stay very much

Located a 5-minute walk from JR Kobe Station, Hostel Nakamura Kobe offers female-only and mixed dormitory rooms, 24-hour shower rooms, a shared kitchen and a sun terrace. Bed was really big and comfy, room was also pretty quiet minus the odd person snoring haha. The whole entire places was really clean. It has nice showers.
