Open from June 2015, Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel offers modern accommodation, just a 7-minute walk from JR Nagoya Station. Guests can enjoy various beverages at the on-site bar or cafe. During my stay at Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel, I was grateful that I was placed near the window, providing ample space for luggage organization. The reliable wifi in the pantry area was convenient for staying connected. Above all, the exceptional hospitality of Icchan, the owner, made me feel welcomed and at home throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place for its cozy atmosphere and personal touch.

The staff were absolutely lovely and so helpful in providing recommendations for places to eat and things to do in Nagoya! Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Location couldn't be better. Would absolutely stay here again.

The location is superb, like 3 mins by foot to Yabachon subway, and close to bus stops too. It's literally near every spots that I wanted to visit, since the property is in Sakae. The property is small, yet it captures all basic needs. On top of that, the owner, Moja-san (I hope I don't type wrong) is very helpful.

They went out of their way to find us taxis in a tricky situation. Then its in between nagoya station and osu shopping streets so you are walking distance to main shopping and nightlife areas in nagoya. Plus they allow you to keep the luggage before and after your stay so you can make use of most of your time without having to use lockers.

Centrally located to the main shopping area (5-10 minute walk). The host was lovely and kind and while I did not get a chance to use the bar downstairs, it did look like a nice spot to enjoy a drink and chat with new people. Highly recommend your stay here if you are travelling through Nagoya.

A slightly unusual small inn in a downtown shopping street near Nagoya Station. Opened in April 2015. Loveee the Japanese style room that we stayed in, very clean, we had 2 people so it was very spacious, great value for the price, lovely place with everything you need! Also, a big plus that it is close to a lot of restaurants that open late at night and offer very nice food and drink. The area is very quite, a nice neighbourhood of Japanese style house. Will def. come back again when I'm in Nagoya :)

HOSTEL WASABI Nagoya Ekimae is set in Nagoya, 2.6 km from Nagoya Castle. The property is located 2.7 km from Oasis 21. Free WiFi is available. Every room comes with a shared bathroom. Very affordable and great location. Staff answered all my questions, like exchanging money for the washing machine.
