The family that runs the place will make you feel at home. They care dearly about their guests and will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. If you stay here, know that the dinners and breakfasts are cooked by the mom of the family, and she's an exceptional cook. What's more, most of the food is grown in their garden downstairs. On our last night we had a lengthy conversation with the eldest son of the family, about jordanian culture and traditions, which was extremely interesting. The rooms are great and spacious, with comfortable beds, have a mini fridge and the hostel is 12 minutes drive trough a gorgeous road. Last but not least, as the name says the place has a breathtaking view over the mountains that surround Petra. If you have dinner here you'll enjoy a beautiful view of the sunset behind the mountains.

We felt so welcome and he took really care of us. We has the best stay possible there and we can only recommend to stay there if you want to visit Petra. Such a great time!

Mr. Yaser indeed welcomed me very warmly and catered for my needs. He prepared delicious breakfast dishes for me, and even had my clothes ironed. You definitely want to stay at this place. Set in Wadi Musa, within 3.7 km of Petra and 6.5 km of Al Khazneh The Treasury, Fragrant Rose offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private parking... I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I had a problem with my hotel in Dana and Mr Ali allowed us to check in early without any charge. On the trip I became very sick and Mr Ali and his wife looked after me and even made me chicken soup for lunch. They allowed me to check out late so I could rest more and refused to take extra money for this. I have never met such kind people in my life and I am very thankful for their excellent hospitality. On the room - it is easily a 4/5 star hotel experience and I really think they should charge a higher price. Bathrobes, slippers, smart tv and access to a kitchen are provided. The bed is super comfortable and the room is spacious. There is a garden which you have access to which is an added bonus. Breakfast was 10/10 and traditional local food - the halwa was very good. Thank you Mr Ali and family for everything.

Everything was fantastic, and the host was incredibly welcoming. The water pressure and hot water were top-notch, making showers a pleasure. Plus, it's just a short drive from Petra Visitors Center. I'd give it 11 out of 10 stars if I could!
