Set a 12-minute drive from the West Fjods village of Flateyri , this hostel offers basic rooms with free Wi-Fi access, as well as mountain and river views. Dynjandi Waterfall is 72 km away. I was the only one guest in this hostel that day. It was incredible experience, the owner is a very kind person and he told me about the story of the guesthouse, it's a very remote place in the Westfjords, this was my second time in Iceland but my first time in the Westfjords, and I loved my days in the remotest part of Iceland. Hopefully to visit the Westfjords someday again, and if I do it I will back to this accommodation again!

Boasting a shared lounge, Gistiheimilið Bergistangi 2 is situated in Norðurfjörður. The hostel features both free WiFi and free private parking. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Isafjordur Hostel is set in Ísafjörður and offers accommodation with shared bathrooms. Very nice and helpful staff, perfectly located, reasonable room comfort (it's a hostel, not a 5 star hotel), well-equipped kitchen
