Very relaxed stay and very kind and helpful owner, who helped with organizing activities, shared information and even let me check in already at 8am because the dorm was empty at that moment. He also organized the contact to rent a scooter. Also had some very infomative and good conversations with the owner, just chilling in front of the hostel. There's a newly opened cafe next door where it's also possible to order a good coffee (even Cappuccino).

Kokos Hostel Padang City features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Padang. I loved to stay here, the staff is amazing, the bed are so confortable, the communal area is amazing. The place is located also near the ferry harbor to mentawai, so if you have to take it is really near. By foot you also reach a lot of good restaurants and bars. I left there all my valuable and belongins when I did my trip to mentawai and they took care of them till I came back.

Many services are for free, which is actually so rare ! The room was very confortable. Tha facilities (common area and swimming pool) were clean and nice. The location was great. Great accommodation and help with getting food. 5 mins drive from airport. We arrived at 12.00 and asked the owner what we could do in the afternoon. Within an hour we were trekking to remote farm, eating freshly caught fish, visiting traditional village houses and swimming under a waterfall. The guide was excellent.
