Chirris Hostel ligger i San Juan La Laguna, 25 km från Volcán Atitlán, och har en tur- och utflyktsdisk, rökfria rum, en trädgård, gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen och en terrass. I liked everything - the location cannot be better, it's ten seconds away from auto stand, from the stop where chicken buses to San Pedro, San Peublo, Santa Clara pass and stop, one minute away from Central Park, one minute from market, five minutes from boat pier, two minutes away from where the bus from Antigua stops in San Juan. Plus, the best road in San Juan with beautiful lighting with umbrellas is one minute away. All in all, it's the best location in San Juan. Yet it's so quiet. Internet is excellent, my room was big and clean, staff were very sweet and helpful. Washroom is always clean, bathroom has good hot showers, kitchen is very clean with adequate utensils. There's lots of drinking water for refilling Best part of all is Andrea, the hostess, she helped me book the direct bus from Antigua to San Juan. The travel agents in Antigua only offer buses to Panajachel. It's quite a pain to have to then take a boat to San Juan with luggage. The bus that Andrea booked for me picked me up at Antigua from near, my hostel there and dropped me a few minutes away from Chirris hostel. The hostel felt perfectly safe throughout, Andrea guided me for things to do, how to do Indian nose hike on my own using public transport and even helped to book my bus from the hostel to Guatemala airport. I liked the hostel so much I extended my stay by two more days. There is a refrigerator available for use and a stove where it's possible to cook. I visited San Pedro, San Marcos and Panajachel and I found San Juan had the best vibe. And because of proximity of the hostel to the boat pier, the auto stop and bus stop, it was quite easy for me to travel to other villages from here.

We got to pick from 2 homemade options (typical breakfast or fruit/yogurt/granola bowl). Everything was made from skratch in the morning by Dani and Eric. We also had yoga classes in the morning by the in house yoga teachers. Dani & Eric were very welcoming and helpful. Overall an amazing stay.

Gran Colibrí ligger i San Pedro La Laguna, 24 km från Volcán Atitlán, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. I just lovedstaing there. I came with a bad stomach and I am still so thankful how the stuff card about me. Amazing vibes, beautiful location on the lake and and I loved to sleep in the tippis.

We stayed here for 8 days. The hotel is run by a very kind and helpful family. Very comfortable bedrooms with TV and Netflix. Small kitchen available for making simple meals. Great views from the balcony with hammocks.

Mandalas Hostal is situated in San Pedro La Laguna and has a terrace. Free WiFi is featured. A kitchen with everything you need and a dining area. I don’t usually write reviews but this hostel deserved one! What a lovely hostel - made by the owners who are so accommodating and helpful. They really make it feel like home, and went above and beyond to sort shuttles etc for me. The beds are very comfortable and double which is a treat, I’ve never slept better in a hostel :)

EB5 Escape-Contemporary Stay, San Marcos La Laguna #1 erbjuder boende i San Marcos La Laguna. Boendet är rökfritt och ligger 32 km från Volcán Atitlán. Fantastic view, jusm make sure you are in the upper unit cause the one below don’t have a view but we were so lucky to be in unit 1 it was a spectacular view!! The unit was very pretty and had everything you need, confy bed, clean washroom and spaceful shower! The message with the direction before arrival helped us finding the location, the phone map was a little deceiving so just follow the instruction that the host sends you! Really really worth it specially for the low cost and high quality!
