Not sure it’s because we were there in low season, but the facilities are not only well equipped but also well maintained. The kitchen was really amazing for hostel standard, and the bathroom are ALWAYS so clean!

Youth Of Dope Hostel ligger i Khordhákion, 4,5 km fra Agia Triadas hellige kloster. Der tilbydes indkvartering med gratis cykler, gratis privat parkering, sæsonåben udendørs swimmingpool og have. This was a last minute booking due to a missed flight and last minute rearrangments. I literally only stayed for the night but I am disappointed I could not stay for longer. It is located so close to the airport, take advantage of the taxi booking through the hostel (I was scammed by a driver at the airport). The staff are lovely, the animals are friendly and the bar is open late. I would consider booking here if I go back to Crete.

Chania Hostel Youth ligger blot 15 minutters gang fra centrum af Chania. Denne historiske, rustikke bygning fra 1800-tallet har en velplejet have og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis WiFi overalt. I loved it sooo much, the host is so nice, location is awesome, room is clean and they have a really nice garden for everyone to eat and chat , there are many cute kittens is the garden too. Fully recommend 😊

Doukas Hostel Room ligger i centrum af byen Heraklio, 2,2 km fra Amoudara Strand, og har have, restaurant og bar. Perfect location to visit the city of Heraklion, everything you need is within 5min walking distance including shops, tourist attractions, bars, restaurants, etc... Airport is only 15-20min away and is easily reachable by bus Super friendly and dedicated host -  interacting with the host is already worth the visit! There is also a restaurant onsite serving tasty traditional local meals (must try)

So Young Hostel ligger i Heraklion, 4 minutters gang fra Heraklions arkæologiske museum og 400 meter fra de venetianske mure. Despite I stayed in 8 beds dorm, it was quite comfortable and due to the curtains I had privacy. And the terrace was amazing place to have a breakfast & coffee. Also I've met nice people to have a small talk.

Matala Hostel ligger i Matala og har sæsonåben udendørs swimmingpool, have, terrasse og bar. super afslappet sted, hjælpsom personale og tæt på strand og by.

Sofia rooms ligger i Pitsidia, 2,1 km fra Kommos-stranden, og har have, ikkeryger-værelser og gratis wi-fi overalt. Sofia was so nice and kind. The room was perfect for our needs, and the location was great as well. A very good value stay.

Intra Muros Hostel ligger i Heraklion og har gratis WiFi. Alt Heraklion har at tilbyde ligger en kort gåtur derfra. Intra Muros Hostel har fælles køkken og fælles badeværelser. First of all i loved the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I was encouraged to use the kitchen and cook a proper meal (I only ever boil water in hostels), which i was then able to share. My usual hostel communication consists of muttering 'Hi' or 'Monin', the top being 'Where are you from?' Here i was immediately engulfed in conversations and later spent a magical night talking, singing and a general internationa and intergenerational fun night. It might have been a random mix of random people, but I felt a strong genius loci. Cleanliness, practicality, location and value for money-absolute top number 1!
