Everything! Not sure it’s because we were there in low season, but the facilities are not only well equipped but also well maintained. The kitchen was really amazing for hostel standard, and the bathroom are ALWAYS so clean!

Kumba Hostel in Chania Town provides accommodation with a garden and a bar. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The staff are fantastic, they help you with a lot of things. The room was great, the beds gave you a lot of privacy and space. Everything was very clean and organized. There's plenty of space if you need to work and the internet is good. I'll miss it!

So Young Hostel is situated in Heraklio Town, a 4-minute walk from Heraklion Archaeological Museum and 400 metres from Venetian Walls. Despite I stayed in 8 beds dorm, it was quite comfortable and due to the curtains I had privacy. And the terrace was amazing place to have a breakfast & coffee. Also I've met nice people to have a small talk.

Matala Hostel features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Matala. The hostel is magnificent, and the whole experience was incredible: 1. Matala Hostel is the cleanest hostel I've ever seen in my life, cleaner than some 5stars hotels 2. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, in particular: Jacopo: greatest receptionist I've met in my life, he was able to solve all my problems and needs Cyprien: makes the best cocktails in Matala Daiga: extremelly helpfull, expecially in remiding me stuff :) Apollo: friendly and very professional, as a local he's the key resource for local tips 3. There are the two cutest dog in the world, and they will welcome you 4. Room with AC 5. Very clean Pool 6. Interesting people and guest at the hostel, it is impossible to get bored there 7. Location: Closed to the beach (5min walk), to the bus stop and to the town centre

Located in Pitsidia and within 2.1 km of Kommos Beach, Sofia rooms features a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Sofia was so nice and kind. The room was perfect for our needs, and the location was great as well. A very good value stay.

Providing free WiFi, Intra Muros Hostel is set in Heraklion. Everything Heraklion has to offer is a short stroll away. Intra Muros Hostel offers a communal kitchen and shared bathrooms. First of all i loved the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I was encouraged to use the kitchen and cook a proper meal (I only ever boil water in hostels), which i was then able to share. My usual hostel communication consists of muttering 'Hi' or 'Monin', the top being 'Where are you from?' Here i was immediately engulfed in conversations and later spent a magical night talking, singing and a general internationa and intergenerational fun night. It might have been a random mix of random people, but I felt a strong genius loci. Cleanliness, practicality, location and value for money-absolute top number 1!

Situated in Pitsidia, 2.1 km from Kommos Beach, Pension Patelo features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Beautiful horizon view from the hill. Every morning I woke up with the sea view and every evening I ended the day with the view of the sunset. Marina was very kind, very available and flexible
