Situated in the heart of Newcastle city centre, Albatross Hostel offers free Wi-Fi in public areas, a free house safe and a laundry service. Second time I stayed in this hostel. You get a really good deal for the price. Location is pretty close to the Newcastle train station. The room and bed was pretty good for the price.

I was supposed to stay in a shared dorm but instead I got a whole room to myself which was comfy. The bathroom was very clean. I think the bed was quite small for a single room but overall I was satisfied for a budget hotel.

The owner is an exceptional host, made me feel welcome and looked after. The room was warm and comfortable at nights and I felt well-rested in the mornings. It was very clean and great value for money.
