Rushing water right at the front door. Could sit and watch it all day. Lots of nice places to sit watching the water rush past while you enjoyed a coffee or wine. Rooms comfortable and shared bathrooms were new, close by and kept very clean. Kitchen was large and easy to navigate with other people staying there.

Situato in riva al Lago Windermere, nel Lake District, l’YHA Ambleside offre una vasta gamma di alloggi economici recentemente ristrutturati, una caffetteria con pietanze locali, un ristorante nuovo e... I booked the quadruple room with ensuite bathroom. The view was facing the lake. Parking is just infront of the hostel (maybe due to low season I managed to park there). But if you need to park at the paid parking, it's still very near. Fish n chips shop just a few steps away from the hostel. There's a good restaurant/ cafe inside the hostel aswell. & you can take the cruise package just infront of the hostel. Overall, it was an awesome stay!

Situata nella città mercato di Keswick, nel cuore del Lake District National Park, la Denton House si trova a soli 5 minuti a piedi dal Keswick Leisure Centre. The location was beautiful! It was across the street from the Greta River and right beside the old rail line that is now a walk/run/bike trail. It is a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of town and just over 10 minutes to Derwent Lake. My bed was in the annex with the main building with all the kitchen/dining area/common room in the neighbour building about 5 metres away. I loved everything!

L'YHA Holly How offre sistemazioni in stile dormitorio a Coniston, a 10 minuti di auto da Hawkshead, Ambleside. Location is excellent and parking included is a big bonus. Great walking routes. Breakfast was fine, in continental option the croissants were a bit small. But coffee was good.
