The hostel is located in a picturesque nature reserve and surrounded by mountains and the sea. I can not express how beautiful the location is, you must see it. The pod was equipped quite well, it was also warm. Ruth is exceptional host and was very helpful and nice.

On Scotland’s far west coast, The Mission Bunkhouse in Mallaig offers simple hostel accommodation right opposite the train station and seconds from the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry terminal. Location was directly across from the train station. As Mallaig is quite small, shopping and restaurants ("The Bakehouse" for breakfast, "The Cabin Restaurant" for supper (after the "Harry Potter" train departs)) are all located within 2 or 3 blocks. Sharing a bathroom with the other 2 or 3 rooms was not an issue, as it was kept very clean.

Situated at the foot of Ben Nevis, the long-established Glen Nevis Youth Hostel is just 3 miles from the large town of Fort William. The place looks very new and they got clean bed and bathroom! The location is amazing if you drive, Ben Nevis just right up front.
