Crianlarich Youth Hostel is a 4-star modern bungalow-style building nestled below a forest in the Strathfillan Glen. This hostel is just over an hour's drive from Stirling and provides a great base for exploring the northern area of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The facilities were clean. The shower water was wonderfully warm. (Yay!) Molly checked us in. When we couldn't manage the CityLink to purchase bus tickets, she came to our rescue. We got the tickets needed.

Originally a 19th century church, the Inversnaid Bunkhouse offers a restaurant and a bar, along with stained glass windows. Situated in the Trossachs, this hostel is on the eastern shore of Loch Lomond. WiFi is available throughout. The food was exceptional, the location was stunning, and the staff was very helpful, even to the extent of driving us down to the pier the next day along with all our luggage.

The 4-star VisitScotland accredited Stirling Youth Hostel is set in the grounds of Erskine Church, just a short walk from historic Stirling Castle, high above the town centre, with views over the surrounding area. The hostel is ideally situated near everything ! The staff are very nice and helpful. Everything is clean and you have access to a nice kitchen !

William Wallace offers comfortable budget rooms with shared communal bathrooms, it is set over 3 floors. Bed linen is provided and there are shared communal showers rooms on every floor. Room was warm and well ventilated, TV and lights were on for our arrival, great views from our bedroom
