Well this is all of the above - and more!! Our stay far exceeded our expectations thanks to the most kind, fun, and genuinely caring owner! Fabriccio (and his sweet parents)couldn't have been a better host. His exceptional level of communication before our arrival, as well as his ongoing attentiveness, and wonderful recommendations for things to do and where to go, and all around general help and interactions made our week absolutely unforgettable! Even if Banos had nothing to offer(and it couldn't have offered more fun and adventure!)we'd come back again just to see Fabriccio! :-) It is very apparent he loves what he has created for his guests. So much so it seems he can read your mind to always be one step (or many!)ahead always making sure everything goes well for you. So many little touches like an unexpected coffee, or snack, or use of a bathing cap for the hot springs, eecommrndatikn and information for the best your operator in town, and even offering a late checkout to accommodate our night bus departure! The list goes on and on. (And we saw it extended to all of his other guests too) The backdrop of the volcano, the quiet, the hot showers, convenience of shared kitchen, ease of comminicationg in English, and a perfect location were all icing on the cake! The hostel is located at the centre of the town of Baños, right behind the central bus terminal, which is great and very easy to find. The lady at the reception was very polite and helpful, as was the night shift guy. It is very clean and well looked after. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The price is excellent in comparison to what is offered and should remain as such.

The staff were amazing and so helpful with information about the town! The room was big and felt like a little cabin inside :) The water pressure was amazing and hot. A short walk to everything! The adorable pup Camilla was always welcoming and lovely to be with!

The Casa Verde Eco Guest House offers a solarium with views of the mountains and the Pastaza River just a few minutes from Baños. Buffet breakfast is included. The Owner was really helpful with the activities and really nice. The rooms are really big and the place is super beautiful near the river.

Only 100 metres from Aguas Termales hot springs and Cascada de la Virgen waterfall, Casa Real boasts free parking and comfortable rooms with free WiFi. The town’s commercial area is 300 metres away. Louis was a great host very helpful suggested great places to eat and visit he made our stay excellent

It's a 7 minute walk to the main square (according to Google) and I loved the location as it was close but away from the noisy streets. I slept so well here, really quiet room and big comfortable bed. It's a very friendly family run business.

We loved our stay at Hostal Chimenea. We stayed during the nationwide protests and were unable to leave Baños. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a spacious room with a balcony and a view of the waterfall. We slept great every night with the sound of the waterfall. We also enjoyed the rooftop where we could make meals after breakfast time and sit outside and enjoy the beauty of Baños. We would definitely stay again.
