Well this is all of the above - and more!! Our stay far exceeded our expectations thanks to the most kind, fun, and genuinely caring owner! Fabriccio (and his sweet parents)couldn't have been a better host. His exceptional level of communication before our arrival, as well as his ongoing attentiveness, and wonderful recommendations for things to do and where to go, and all around general help and interactions made our week absolutely unforgettable! Even if Banos had nothing to offer(and it couldn't have offered more fun and adventure!)we'd come back again just to see Fabriccio! :-) It is very apparent he loves what he has created for his guests. So much so it seems he can read your mind to always be one step (or many!)ahead always making sure everything goes well for you. So many little touches like an unexpected coffee, or snack, or use of a bathing cap for the hot springs, eecommrndatikn and information for the best your operator in town, and even offering a late checkout to accommodate our night bus departure! The list goes on and on. (And we saw it extended to all of his other guests too) The backdrop of the volcano, the quiet, the hot showers, convenience of shared kitchen, ease of comminicationg in English, and a perfect location were all icing on the cake! Las Cabañas Inti Luna, situadas en Baños, admiten mascotas y cuentan con WiFi gratuita y restaurante. Algunas habitaciones ofrecen vistas a la montaña o al jardín. También hay TV por cable. Everything !! From the view, the staff, the room, the food, the location, everything was amazing !

The staff were happy and welcoming. The hostal is located in easy access to all this fabulous town has to offer. We stayed in a private double room on the top floor. There's access to a lovely balcony. The kitchen facilities are fantastic. Hostal D'Mathias has a very friendly culture and we met some great people staying there.

Clean room with hot shower. Good Wi-Fi, well-equipped kitchen. A stone’s throw from the market and a very nice bakery. The hospitality of the owner was impressive!

La Casa Verde Eco Guest House ofrece un solárium con vistas a las montañas y al río Pastaza, a pocos minutos de Baños. El desayuno buffet está incluido. Right on the River Pastaza, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, great breakfast every morning. Lovely patio with hammocks to relax on and enjoy the views and sound of the River.

El alojamiento Casa Real está situado a solo 100 metros de las aguas termales y de la cascada de la Virgen y ofrece estacionamiento gratuito y habitaciones cómodas con conexión wifi gratis. La cordialidad excelente de todos. Y la ubicación excepcional

El Papachos Hostel está situado en Baños, a 8 km del teleférico de Tarabita, y ofrece alojamiento con salón compartido, estacionamiento privado gratuito y terraza. Cerca del centro y en un barrio silencioso. Fuimos un grupo de 4 personas. Instalaciones correctas y camas cómodas. Recomendable.

I loved this place, I would have stayed longer if I could. It's a 7 minute walk to the main square (according to Google) and I loved the location as it was close but away from the noisy streets. I slept so well here, really quiet room and big comfortable bed. It's a very friendly family run business.

The whole fmly who run this hostal are very friendly & hospitable especially Veronica. She not only answers all my questions but also helps me to book a room in Cuenca. The room is clean daily & fresh towel change everyday. It always smells nice inside the room. The dining room with the waterfall view is the best. Hostal is near the center but very quiet.
