The place offers good, cheap private rooms with a balcony and comfy beds, while still maintaining a hostel vibe, with many backpackers gathering in the kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need if you wanna cook, and the rooftop is one of the most beautiful I've seen. I ended up extending my stay over and over again. The place is located a bit outside the main area. I generally think that it's an advantage, because people who stayed at the center complained about noise. All the important places are within walking distance, though you get a bit tired of taking this route every time. The staff was friendly and happy to help with finding attractions, arranging taxis and other issues that I have. No English, but a lot of experience with non-Spanish speakers like me

The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. I felt safe walking during the day to the main cathedral and parque. The natural beauty of the area is a plus, as Ibarra is surrounded by beautiful mountains.
