The staff was exceptional.  They accommodated my very late arrival, seeing me to my "private room booking" quickly for some much needed sleep.  The breakfast was authentic and tasty.  The facilities are clean and very well kept (daily). The private suite I booked was fully functional, including TV, great air conditioning, clean linens, hot water for the shower, a safe for my valuables and plenty of power outlets. The management and reception went out of their way to provide information about local festivities and sites to visit.  They even provided me access to group Salsa lessons that were very enjoyable, even with my 2 left feet 😁 The View is nestled in the hills with a wonderful overlook of the city from a rooftop balcony.  Though my stay was not long enough to take advantage of, they have a bar and patios offering many refreshments, spa & massage services onsite upon request, along with private Salsa lessons in a basement dance hall.  The pool is a refreshing break to the humidity of Cali, and is well attended to. This is my new go-to place when I am in Cali, and will suggest to any of my friends visiting. I tip my hat to Sandra, manager Jose, Johan & Daniel in reception, and all other staff.  Very warm & friendly. For sure, new amigos & amigas. Featuring a shared lounge and a terrace, Helena Hostel is set in Cali, 1.7 km from Jorge Isaacs Theater and 1.6 km from Pan-American Park. This property is situated a short distance from attractions such as The Poet's Park, Modern Art Museum La Tertulia, and Caycedo's Square. The hostel features family rooms. Helena is wonderful she even took my laundry to her house to wash it for me. She also has a super hot shower and great water pressure that I loved!

We had to travel on a moments notice and when we arrived we were cared for as if we were family. They truly made a stressful time much easier to bear.

The hostel features city views and a terrace. Had a great time staying at Hostal Liliana. I was a solo female traveller and I felt welcomed by Liliana and all of the staff and the extremely friendly and inviting people of Juanchaco. I felt incredibly safe for the few days I was there. Juanchaco is not as well developed for tourism as other parts of Colombia but has so much incredible natural beauty which makes this a wonderful place to visit. Suprisingly great WiFi in common areas and loved the restaurant attached to the hostel! Liliana will take good care of you and give you lots of recommendations for good tours in the area. All guest rooms at the hostel come with a private bathroom fitted with a shower. Amazing staff. I am travelling long term and unexpectedly got quite sick when I arrived. The team took such good care of me, making me soup and hot tea when they noticed I hadn’t left my room or eaten. I am travelling alone and I felt so grateful that I was staying in a place with such generous and kind spirited people. Made me feel way less alone. Plus all the facilities and great and clean. Excellent location. Highly recommend.
