Much more like a hotel. Lots of social space and activities every night - but it really does depend on the night how busy/ quiet it is in the evenings! Rooftop pool awesome. Rooms super big and clean, curtains for privacy on bed pods and nice staff, food at the restaurant ok too.

I was worried we would be too remote from the hub in Minca to really enjoy the area, especially after experiencing the road up to the hostel, but I was wrong. Everything we needed was right there. We were more than happy to hike to all the things we wanted to see but you could just as easily take a moto or 4x4. The food was great. The people were even better. We really didn’t want to leave.

Amazing view, great food, met awesome people. Played football with the locals next door, watched amazing sunsets on the net.

Mendihuaca Surf Camp se encuentra en Guachaca y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, terraza y bar frente a la playa, a pocos pasos de Playa de Guachaca. El lugar es incredible. El staff muy simpático.

El Magdalena Beach House se encuentra en la acera de Los Cocos y alberga un restaurante. También alberga un bar y un jardín. Ofrece vistas al mar y al jardín. Very nice and helpful people who work here. The hotel is surrounded by forest and located a 4-minute walk from the road and 10 minutes from the beach. There are shops and a restaurant along the road. Buses run to and from Tayrona National Park every 20 minutes. The ride also takes a few minutes. The room was clean and spacious with a view of the forest and ocean. An oasis of peace after busy Cartagena. Breakfasts (I chose Colombiano) were prepared immediately before each meal with fresh ingredients. A real treat. I highly recommend this place.

The Valley Tayrona hostel- A unique social jungle hostel dispone de piscina al aire libre, jardín, terraza y bar en Zaino. An amazing atmosphere in the middle of jungle and close enough to everything else. Never seen such a clean lodge.The staff, the people and the pets are lovely and it‘s easy to connect with. You definately feel the owner run this place with love. Also the food is very good and they offer a lot of vegan options. Already recommended it to other travelers. Would def come back.

Mano Verde Minca se encuentra en Minca, a 31 km de Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. I was in doubt when I found out how far from Minca this location is (from Minca bus terminal 45min by moto) but it was one of the best decisions and favorite stays in Colombia! Staff was very kind (Doris and two girls on their workaway, thank you for everything!), I was lucky enough that on the 1th night I was the only one in the dorm (which btw offers amazing view over Sierra Nevada!), food was really good, place is quite,... so make sure you will come for more than one night :)
