A wonderful place with a lovely outdoor kitchen, lots of trees and greenery around, and it felt very secluded. A very peaceful, respectful place. We will miss it!

The bathroom was very clean, and hot water! Internet worked great. Way better and cheaper than the hostels in the area. I'm sure you'll love it. They don't speak English, but hey just use Google translate. They even do your laundry.

At Hostal Luna del Mar 840-B each room is fitted with bed linen and towels. The family who work here are great. They were very helpful, had bag storage, clothes washing facilities and we're very kind to provide us with breakfast items the evening before, as we were leaving very early on a tour the next day. The room and bathroom was clean and the outdoor seating area is a nice place to sit and relax. The place is close to the bus stations and the centre of town.

The beautiful beach of La Serena is only 0,8 km away , and the the historic city centre at a 20 minutes walk (1,5 km) Friendly, polite and well English speaking host. Absolute cleanness in the room. Highly comfortable bed. Lovely dogs in the property🫶 Fast internet and smart tv. Beautiful garden.

Rooms at Hostal El Arbol feature a shared bathroom and some have garden views. Breakfast is included. I can only recommend this El Arbol Hostel. The stuff is very nice and incredibly helpful. The chef speaks English. She has very good recommendations for your stay and you can easily reach her with What‘ app. The place is though small, very comfortable, clean and cosy and La Serena is a surprisingly nice city with more things to do than you have probably thought.
