The Oldtown Hostel Otter and its old-established Wüste Bar is a stylish place for the young-at-heart in Zürich's Old Town, about 300 metres from the Zürich-Stadelhofen train station and the lake. The mattress I had sucked I could have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor as I am no stranger to concrete beds. Oops. I liked everything but my mattress.

Depot 195 occupies a renovated brick building in a historic factory site in the centre of Winterthur, 500 metres from the train station. It offers a snack bar and free WiFi access. My stay was very pleasant, great location close to the train station. The host Rebekkah was very helpful and kind. Had all the amenities I needed for the one night. The bathrooms were clean and my room was spacious.

Central location , 10 mins walk from Zurich Hbf. Lovely views of the lake. The owner/manager lady was the nicest human i met- always helpful. Yes her english isn’t perfect but she always used translate to communicate. She was supportive in laundry even when i came in early and exhausted i was able to check in with a fee of 10CHF. Before I arrived i got a message saying no elevators which was good to know- thank God my luggage wasn’t too big. Place is always clean cause the manager/owner is always cleaning it
