Set only 40 metres from the bus stop in Wassen, Gotthard Backpacker offers free parking and bicycle storage. A common kitchen and a lounge area are provided. This was a one night stay for our 6-membered family in room with 6 beds with shared bathroom and we were a little worried if this accomodation would be comfortable enough for us to rest. In the end it turned out beyond our expectations - the beds are solid and large enough, there are three huge and clean shared toilettes/bathrooms and there is also clean and equipped small kitchen and dining room for sharing, so we made a breakfast in the morning. The house is very nice and quite, in the beatiful and peaceful surrounding (definitely worth of visiting for more than one day) and the hosts are very kind.

Gasthaus Skiklub ligger i Ursern-dalen, omgitt av fjellpassene Oberalp og Gotthard. Taubanen Andermatt til Gemsstock er 100 meter unna, og rommene har gratis Wi-Fi. Great location in the heart of the village with lovely views and the relaxing sound of cowbells on the slopes. The hotel was a traditional, ski-chalet type - clean, functional and the host was very welcoming.

A historic guesthouse dating from the early 18th century, Gasthaus zum Turm is next to the medieval tower in the village of Hospental. It features a sun terrace overlooking the Alps. Wonderful spot. Will be back fo sure.
