Jugendherberge Hospental
Hospental
Located in the Urseren Valley between the Gotthard, Furka and Oberalp passes, Jugendherberge Hospental has a garden and ski storage facilities. Hospental Train Station is just 500 metres away.
All units at Jugendherberge Hospental are spacious and have wood-panelled walls and ceilings. They share bathroom facilities.
Bus station is right by the building. Very easy access to get to ski lifts
Gotthard Backpacker
Wassen
Set only 40 metres from the bus stop in Wassen, Gotthard Backpacker offers free parking and bicycle storage. A common kitchen and a lounge area are provided.
The Backpacker is 100 metres away from a cash machine and 150 metres from a restaurant and a supermarket. The E35 motorway exit is 500 metres away.
Excellent to stay for one night as stopover and when you hike for the Alps.

Great location - just outside Andermatt but better value for money (although still expensive by other European country standards). Good to have free parking. Staff so friendly and restaurant served lovely hearty food - perfect after a big hike. If you stay here you MUST go walk at Goshenensee - so beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are simple but spotless and quite big, with a comfy and large double bed. Great location in the centre of the village. Fantastic restaurant - we really enjoyed the food and the South African/Swiss mix of dishes. Friendly and welcoming hosts - thank you for a great stay!

Great location right next to the train station, perfect for biking or hiking to the source of the Rhine. Good breakfast, dinner available (which is good, because there wasn't anything else open). Sink in the room, and slippers available for walking down the hall to the toilet/bath. Indoor bicycle storage. Public WiFi worked well. A simple, but nice, hotel.

Great location to visit Andermatt - a great stopover on the Glacier Express. Very clean, well-equipped room & bathroom. Fabulous breakfast. Incredibly friendly & helpful staff who allowed us early access to the room & an area to leave our bags after checkout. The hotel restaurant is a real hidden gem - we hadn’t realised it was such a highly rated place until we reserved a table. Amazing food. Outside bar seating catches the evening beautifully!
