This eco-friendly youth hostel in Rivière-du-Loup city centre features a communal kitchen, barbecue facilities and free in-room Wi-Fi. The staff, all volunteering, feels like a big family/group of friends, living there and sharing theire space with travellers. They create a great atmosphere and are very helpful! They even cooked a meal for everyone the night I arrived. They let me stay in the living space, which is super big and comfy, until my night train left. There a bikes to use.

The kitchen facilities are nice and they have a small breakfast every morning that includes anything you might want. it isn’t fancy but it is clean, safe and convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is the second time I have stayed here and they did not disappoint. I hope I am able to come back to Montreal again and would definitely stay here if possible.
