I could borrow a bike for trips (even borrowed a daypack). And the owner and the staff was very kind. The place also has a kitchen you can borrow. A bar is connected to the hotel.

The hostel is incredibly clean, my room was really spacious and comfortable, the staff all very friendly and a good breakfast included in the price.

I got upgraded to the suite room but got to see the full hostel. It is clean and new. I particularly liked the heated floors in my room. The suite had a washer and dishwasher, too. The folks in the town were super friendly. The hostel is right next to the bus stop, which was very convenient when arriving from Vienna. The bus dropped me off right at the hostel. The town is surrounded by mountains and scenic views. You'll see the river Drava, and a smaller one a bit farther away. The town is not at a high altitude, so there isn't a lot of snow or clouds. But you'll find that up in the mountains, a short drive away. There were a few days when a light jacket was enough to walk around town, in December. There is wifi in the hostel and at the cafe right across the road from the hostel. Everything is within walking distance... the grocery store, a small park, restaurants, cafes, ATM, etc.
