The owner, Vincent, is the sweetest and kindest man, it was truly a pleasure to meet him and stay here. The facilities are great, the rooms are very clean and comfy, and with many commodities (TV, Mini-fridge, Fans, bed sheets/ winter blankets, towels, stove, etc). From the moment you arrive you feel welcome, the Hostel creates a great community fostering inclusion and fun times. The location is great, right next to the bus station, a couple of blocks from the beach, and many supermarkets and food shops nearby. The Hostel also has fridges with an awesome selection of imported beers (national and international), curated by Vincent himself. If you are planning to stay in Madryn you don't have to think anymore, this is the place to stay.

Only 30 metres from the ocean and 11 blocks from Puerto Madryn bus station, Chepatagonia has dorm rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi. There are shared kitchen facilities and a TV room. Excellent location next to beach. My favorite cafe Casa Hulpe and favorite dinner restaurant Cantina el Nautico are both within a block away. The hostel has a nice outdoor courtyard and an indoor living room area. They also have a shared kitchen upstairs. The breakfast is simple - toast, cereal, fruits, milk, tea and coffee. The shared bathrooms are clean. But the best part is the kindness of the owner Frederico and especially the amazing Matías. Matias is probably the most friendly, helpful person who made our trip special with his assistance. Matias speaks excellent English too. They can help with tour info, car rentals and taxis. I will happily return!

This was a basic hostel with very friendly and helpful staff. There was a spacious kitchen with plenty of room for several people to cook and eat at the same time. The manager was quick to help me book a tour around the Valdez Peninsula and even helped coordinate other folks who would like to go so we could split the cost. There was an outside area for gathering. No-one was using it yet as it was cold by Argentinian standards. The location is excellent with easy access to the majority of tour operators, restaurants, stores, and the beach. The bus terminal is only a few blocks away, an easy walk even with luggage. It was surprisingly quiet, even though it was full for the long weekend.

Located in Cholila, Piuke Mapu Patagonia Hostel is a cosy eco-friendly hostel with scenic views and a large parkland. The property offers an organic orchard and free WiFi access in common areas. This hostel is beautifully furnished and full of sunshine. Most importantly, the staff was super kind and so great in helping me organise my travels to Parque Nacional Los Alerces and later my transportation to El Calafate, I would honestly give them a rating of 11 if I could.

Located between Lago Puelo's commercial area and Lago Puelo National Park, Huala Hostel has cosy rooms surrounded by an extensive park with fruit trees. excellent location t and the premises are beautiful but more importantly, Maite is a superb host!

Located 400 metres from the beach and 300 metres from Puerto Madryn’s central square, La Tosca Hostel offers 2 fully equipped common kitchens, BBQ facilities and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is included. Great team, being aware of people having to wake up almost at 05:30 in order to go to do diving, for example, so adapting the breakfast so you can still have something before leaving (breakfast starts once you are under the water)... Food and drinks were amazing (cooked by one member of Staff, Elsa if I remember well)... Everyone as good as the property and the service provided. There are a few parking slots available for free (enquire first as they may not be available if you suddenly show up with a car). The lockers under the beds were amazingly big and safe (and fresh, as you don't want to leave your things in a sealed box).

Bright rooms with free Wi-Fi can be enjoyed just 3 blocks from the ocean. Puerto Madryin’s bus terminal is 6 blocks away. Private parking is with reservation. Excelente predisposición del staff
