The accommodation is a traditional village clay and thatch guest house. The beds are very comfortable with mosquito nets and it was nice to have an ensuite shower room. The village is very friendly and safe and has a small but well stocked shop. A Village tour including volunteering in the village school, Nshima cooking lesson and a Zambezi sunset canoe rides can be booked directly with Alex (I highly recommend these). It’s nice to know the money raised is going to support the village school. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return. Thank you to Alex, his family and friends for making us feel so welcome.

There is a supermarket just on the opposite side of the main road. The staff organize and help you book activities and day trips on the area. This backpackers is very well run and staffed, dorm rooms are big and beds comfy, they have safe boxes (bring your own padlock), there's a coffee station, nice garden and swimming pool, renovated bar and bathrooms... and it's very conveniently located. The best option in Livingstone!
