This hostel was amazing! Such a nice chilled vibe with a great breakfast! The staff were so lovely and helpful. The facilities were so clean and the bed was so big and comfortable. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back!

everything was great about the apartment. It's very clean, surprisingly quiet, close to the beach, bed is comfy and the AC works well and quietly. The host lives more or else next door and was super helpful in my travel endeavors, incl getting a motorbike, laundry and planning + booking my continuation trip at a price that was better than what I could get from regular agencies. While the place itself doesn't have any amenities (which is expected at that price) it is in walking distance to the long Beach Chalet resort which has offers a great + relaxed beach bar and Café. Overall the place is really good value for the money.

Best location! Good vibe. I really like the vibe here it made me feel safe, relaxing, chill. They also have breakfast and drinks while other restaurants seem closed. The owner and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. You will like it here. They also have their own pier facing the sea. In the morning and all day you can sit at the balcony to spot the scenery.

It was lovely place to stay, really comfy beds, the staff was lovely! Always very nice and helpful. Very clean and they were everyday on top of cleaning and organising. They did laundry as well so it was perfect!

I absolutely loved my stay at Blancos, so much that I ended up extending twice! The location is amazing, just a 2 minute walk from the beach, and pretty much everything you could ask from a hostel. A nice pool, so many hammocks all over the place and a really nice social area with games. The food is also very nice and at a very good price. The staff are all awesome, making such an effort to make everyone feel welcome. Met so many amazing people through the daily evening activities organised through the hostel.

The hostel location is very strategic, just like 3 minutes to the nice beach. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. The inclusive breakfast was beyond my expextation for the bed price I paid. The bed was very clean and comfy with curtain. The electric door lock was safe. The staff were super friendly and helpful with your inquiries. It's a social hostel but not loud with party. Highly recommended.

This place is simply a home for travelers. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy common area, comfy beds and amazing staff that will help you with everything you need. Nora's yoga classes are something you can't miss (try to reserve your spot in the morning) and a short walk of 10 minutes brings you to the beach.

Just a few of my observations during my long stay here, of “travellers on a budget”. AKA; “checking in at a hostel”. Which incidentally, was delightful! The hosts here are amazing and offer help with just about anything and everything their guests need. Within reason!😅 Some people simply forget to leave their sense of entitlement at home. Some want EVERYTHING for free. Some were thankfully kicked out/called out by the owner for their rude and nasty behaviour towards the staff and other guests (hence some of the bad reviews for this property). Some guests audaciously threathened the owners, of leaving bad reviews, if they couldn’t get things their own way. Still, they were “politely” asked to leave by the owners 😅 An Italian woman in her 50’s, behaving like she had a reservation in a 5-star hotel. Demanding this and that. Very rude. She talked to the “staff” (without knowing they are the owners) like they are scum. Another woman in her 50’s, Dutch, huffing and puffing about other hostel guests hanging out/chilling and smoking in the designated “hangout area” (that’s the purpose of that space 🤷‍♀️). Also she complained of the shower room being wet (since it’s a communal shower room where people are in/out, it’s wet 🤷‍♀️) A young Austrian couple in their 30’s, washed their entire laundry in the shower late one evening, despite being asked not to, then hung it all around the hostel, underwear’s and everything for all to see (everyone is briefed on arrival about the water, drawn from a well starting to run dry in dry season, the simple plumbing system of the property and the no-tissue-down-the-toilet etc which they ignored) After being asked to leave, they suggested the manager should learn how to speak to people. A young indian female in her 30’s, complained the water from the dispenser not being chilled, even after being told that she can use the fridge, next to the dispenser.
