The warm hospitality showed by all the staff! Upon my arrival, observing that I was perspiring profusely (I'd walked from the railway station) the male reception staff immediately offered and served me a cup of cold water. I was assigned a bed before official check in time. The same staff informed me he had assigned me a bed in an all female room (instead of one in a mixed gender room which I had booked). My train out of BKK was at 2230hr. The hostel allowed me to stay in the lobby till it is time to leave, I was allowed to use the shower to freshen up. A fresh towel was offered for my use too! It was great that the hostel has a coffee machine (free coffee!) and water vending machine in the lobby.

The shower had plenty of hot water with reasonable pressure, the wifi was good, nice room, large and comfy double bed. The kettle was just outside the room. There is a place to leave baggage before check in. The coffee shop on-site has very trendy and chill vibes and the coffee is good.
