Converted from a prison, you definitely felt safe on the inside. it's been tastefully redecorated with clean, crisp decor; but you still get the sense of the bigness and intensity of the prison. Architecturally it was a bit confronting at first, but the service was outstanding, the people staying there were friendly and chatty. The rooms were clean and quiet and beds super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Great value for money.

Breakfast was good with plenty of choices and enjoyed outdoors. We were on a bicycle trip and the staff kindly let us keep our bikes safely in a storage room. It was really warm, but we had 2 fans in our room that made it easier to sleep.
