I've been at over two hundreds hostels Many really bad ones and some really good ones..- this is one of them. It's not only the hostel itself, even though it's more like a hotel. Everything is perfect here.. Inc the environment animals/ chicken etc.. but the main reason is the owner. He's such a calm kind person which makes you calm. I don't wanna write about clean kitchen etc( witch is absolutely perfect inc all the other stuff... It's about the calmness compare to Lagos madness, noice, drunk shouting people all around... Here you can relax, be yourself in quite environment and still if you want party, Lagos is nearby.. btw there's music here as well, pool table, table tennis and lot's of space( for especially me to exercise outdoors)... And grill for barbeque etc. - this is on my top 5 list out of hundreds. That says it all.. especially Thanks to the kind emphatic flexible owner 🙏 I will 100% be back if I come this way again. No doubt. And price.... Come on. For this place is cheaper than cheap. Summa summarum visit it. You will DEFINITELY not be disappointed. On that I give you my word........

There was no breakfast but I had access to use kitchen. Location was ok The owner was very kind and helpful I will highly recommend this accommodation from hospitality point of view and facilities available to use. The property was clean and peaceful Absolutely loved staying there

Quiet, clean, comfy and spacious beds with black out curtains!! This is the place to go in Lagos if you value your sleep!! They've also thought of everything - numbered hangers for your towels, drying rack for bathing suits outside, lots of space for your things inside your bunk, nice yard area with sun chairs, a small pool, and foosball table. Had such great quality sleep here! And easy self check in and check out.

Intressant med en "äkta" hostelupplevelse; med enkla våningssängar av järn, bäddade med filt och lakan, samt ett par slitna handdukar.. Men absolut helt OK, och rätt charmigt på nåt sätt;) "Du får vad du betalar för" stämmer bra! Läget är bra, nära ner till stan och stränderna/klipporna. Kul med baren/biljardlokalen, som hängde ihop med hostellet; genuin känsla.

Very nice rooms and common areas with staff available on sight a lot during the day. Nice cleaning the bathrooms in the morning. Loved that you got two pillows. Tidy kitchen where they threw away old food. Over every expectation.

I booked the 6-person bedroom but they upgraded me to the 2-person one. ☺️ The vibe of the hostel is also immaculate.

Enjoying yourself at the Macarena hostel is definitely the easiest experience I've had at a hostel. It can be very social and exiting or very calm and you have the freedom to do your own thing

I like your Very independented here No one's comes and check if everything is ok all the time.. they leave it more or less to the customers.. as s long time traveller and 60 years old I like that. The manager is very kind, staff as well Toilet's clean Wash your clothes for only 2€, witch is very cheap compared to others.
