Excellent place to stay with fabulous staff. Since I was travelling off-season, I got bumped up to a double room, instead of the dorm which was a great and unexpected bonus. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. Super comfortable bed as well. The staff was also very helpful and kind, I got plenty of recommendations including restaurants, things to do, and transport around the island. Definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at Hostel da Palmeira! Everything was amazing. We stayed in a private room with private bathroom and it was very clean and very well equipped. The staff is incredibly friendly and super helpful and they have an easy to follow late check-in process which is great.
