The room was clean and comfortable. The hostel is located in a part of town where there was ample parking. It was easy to walk to Castelo Branco's castle and to area shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Area maps were available at the desk. The breakfast provided was super. There were a lot of choices available.

I was particularly impressed that they provided gluten-free bread for my breakfast, when all I'd asked was whether they had gluten-free options in their breakfast offerings.
