There are several fruit trees around the buildings that attract lots of birds. Our hostess was lovely and had plenty of interesting and useful information to share. The property owners seek to educate locals and school children about environmental issues. The thoughtfulness they have displayed in weaving this property seamlessly into its surroundings is a testament to their goals and values. I really wish I could have extended my stay.

The staff was super friendly and helped me organizing trips and also how to get to my next stop. The cooked food was tasty and inexpensive. Everything was super clean. They have a garden with herbs snd some vetegables that can be used. The hostel is also part of a schoool, teaching english to some locals and environmental sense to children.
