Emre the owner was very friendly and helpful. He provides all sorts of tips about Bar and its surroundings and you can clearly see that he's very passionate about this place and his hostel. I loved that the hostel is in a normal family house, so it has a homely, local feel to it. The kitchen is sooo spacious and perfectly equipped, so it's a joy to cook there. Coffee and tea are provided. There's also a big garden surrounding the living room / kitchen area, perfect to BBQ in summer. The rooms are also big, with a good mix of single and bunk beds (so there's a high chance of lower bunk). Bathrooms are again - big, and clean. Location-wise, the hostel is very close to the train station, convenient for those wanting to enjoy the epic ride to Belgrade. It's also right in between the center and castle (Stari Grad), a 30min walk to each. I'd recommend this hostel if you want a peaceful place to chill out for a couple of days and explore Bar and the beautiful nature around.

I liked that it has every utility thay you'd need when you are on vacation. Cost effectiveness is very good. It is suitable for long stays as well. If you are on a budget, this property is definitely for you. The owner was friendly and helpful. He provided me extra blanket and clean sheets and towels from time to time.

It's equipped with everything that you need for a comfortable stay: washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen utensils, iron with iron board etc. Only 2 mins by foot from the sea and city centre is only 5 minutes walk. There's also a supermarket on the ground floor of the apartment building, so you can do your groceries shopping there. We will definitely stay again.

BUT here's what you will find: friendly and welcoming locals, an atmosphere that really makes you travel, a place to stay where you feel safe. And all with beer, good coffee and local liquor! I felt like I was back at the essence of hostels, with the place being a cheap local shelter with local atmosphere. That's what it it and it doesn't pretend to be anything else. I upgraded to a private room and stayed for a couple days. The Hostel is new and clean and the bathroom faculties are fantastic. Emre took us (his guests) into the town in his car, to various attractions and helped us wherever possible. If you want to go somewhere you’ll feel safe, welcome and have a great time, this is the place for you!

That gives really nice, relaxing atmosphere plus people working there are making this hostel special. I also met nice travellers but that’s obviously a lottery… Remember that is a budget hostel so don’t expect a luxury but if you a traveller you know what’s most important - people! One of my best stay on my balkans tour! Namaste to all!
