At first I was sceptical about this hotel, but the room turned out to be very clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Nothing outstanding, just a classic hotel room, but everything looked and felt new. There was a fridge and a kettle in the room. The price was very reasonable comparing to other options in Valmiera for weekend. Also, in my case it was great that I was able to place a last minute booking literally on the same day of our arrival. Normally summer weekends are fully booked everywhere.

I couldn't find the property, so I called the hostel. After a moment the lady working there came to pick me up and drove me there. It's around 30 minutes away (on foot) from the city center, next to the Valmiermuiža property, which is really nice. There is a bus nearby. The room was very clean, there's a large kitchen. The showers are communal, but it wasn't a problem. It's mainly a worker hostel. Overall a good stay.
