Clean and spacious rooms, the owner of the hostel is super nice, helpful, easy to talk to and truly caring for others. Helped me with planning my trip around Sri Lanka and gave me valuable advice. When time of lunch or dinner he picked up the food and brought it to the hostel for everyone. His homemade kombucha is the best I’ve ever tried. Great vibe all around the hostel, in the evening people gather together, listen to music and enjoy the present moment. I truly recommend this place for everyone, especially solo travelers like me would appreciate to meet new people. I am thankful for everything this hostel gave me.

Not often you come to a new place and immediately feel this special vibe. I found so much more at this place. Place is surrounded by nature and it's away from the main road so it's as tranquil and calm as very few places on the coast. After just few days I knew I respect the family and young man that runs this place and I extended my stay. Now being here another countless time I feel like I found my place to immerse into peacefull tranquility surrounded by nature. The place can arrange additional activities and is surfer friendly. Booking does it a disservice by saying place is located a mile from the beach. The best and cleanest beach and surf spot Jungle Beaach is only three hundred yards away. It takes three minutes to get to this sandy paradise. Also during the season ask for Family Bandara's breakfast. I'm serious it's a feast and for a really good value for money.

Plan B is a great hostel especially if you are looking to work remotely while travelling as it has a great attached co-working space! The bedrooms were super clean and comfortable and the staff were super friendly. It is also attached to an amazing cafe for your morning coffee needs! Walking distance from everything! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Weligama!

Staff was great. Very helpful. Mama very sweet. Ordered meals good. They are all helpful and wanting to please. Bed was comfortable. Water hot. Air conditioning good. Even had free filtered water to refill water bottle. Room clean.

Newly renovated, everything is clean and the people are friendly. They were closed for 2 years over covid and have just re-opened again. You feel very comfortable in this place. The location is ideal as you are right in the center and everything is within walking distance. The staff is super friendly and you can meet a lot of cool people. Surf courses are offered which are well structured and you learn a lot. Daily activities are organized where you can make new friends. After surfing you can chill by the pool. Ideal for people who like to surf, party and socialize.
