The staff were very warm and welcoming. The location of the hostel was only a few minutes walk from the JR Takayama station. We stayed in the Japanese-style room with futon. The futon was very warm for the chilly nights we had during our stay. Use of the shared kitchen and fridge was also kept neat and tidy by other guests as well. The balcony on the top level also has a very nice view of the mountains.

Nice space outside of the city center. Lots of space to hang out and relax, huge kitchen and outdoor relaxing area, close to bus stop.

Cozy hostel similar to a ryokan. The staff speak English and the position is perfect in the city. Really suggest if you want a cozy and quite place to stay in a Japanese style

The place is really good, and the onsen is very nice, The staff is very nice and helpful, There is not a close bus station but they provide shuttle to takayama station, We really enjoyed our stay!
