The staff were amazingly kind, friendly, and generous. They went out of their way to make sure I had an excellent experience and not only in Nara but in Japan in general. They are true ambassadors of Japan. I will definitely visit again if I am ever back to Nara- japan .

Great hospitality, all the people in the staff were so friendly and open to have a nice conversation. The recommendations from the host were really helpful and the house it's an amazing traditional Japanese house. The location was second to none because it is close to both train stations and just a few steps from the central area of Nara. Also they rent bicycles for a very good price for hour or day, that saved me a lot of time.

This property was stunningly beautiful, a wonderful old Japanese tea house. We were absolutely delighted. Not for those looking for a luxurious modern hotel, but absolutely perfect for us. Very close to everywhere we wanted to go, right next to Nara park, but not far from the station. Takashi, our host, was charming and spoke perfect English. He recommended where to go and returned to the house to show us how to turn the heating on when it got cold. We had a wonderful stay and we already miss it!
