Breakfast was very good and the standard of accommodation was generally very high. It was an excellent base to explore Barga and the region.

When we left something important behind Beatrice organized a courier to send it to us at our next location, for which we were very grateful. It would be a pleasure to stay again.

The bed was very comfy, especially the pillows. Our host was very friendly and we had a lovely breakfast overlooking the mountains in the distance. I would highly recommend Villa Gherardi.

The old town is beautiful and the mountains are gorgeous. Great location for exploring but you do need a car, however there is parking just outside the house. The host is extremely helpful and friendly.

Pool was lovely and plenty of space both indoors and out with lovely views of the mountains . We visited with my sister and family - 10 in total , adults, young adults and teenagers and everyone loved it . The villa was well equipped and hosts were excellent . Wouldn’t hesitate to return to Villa Sophia and would totally recommend .ElaineFamily with young children

Real easy to walk from the hostel to the old city. My room had the most amazing view on Barga. I took postcard-like pictures from there! The host was very kind and helpful.
