When we left something important behind Beatrice organized a courier to send it to us at our next location, for which we were very grateful. It would be a pleasure to stay again.

The bed was very comfy, especially the pillows. Our host was very friendly and we had a lovely breakfast overlooking the mountains in the distance. I would highly recommend Villa Gherardi.

The old town is beautiful and the mountains are gorgeous. Great location for exploring but you do need a car, however there is parking just outside the house. The host is extremely helpful and friendly.

Pool was lovely and plenty of space both indoors and out with lovely views of the mountains . We visited with my sister and family - 10 in total , adults, young adults and teenagers and everyone loved it . The villa was well equipped and hosts were excellent . Wouldn’t hesitate to return to Villa Sophia and would totally recommend .ElaineFamily with young children

Great location with a few local restaurants and shops, just a few minutes walk from the old town of Barga. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great, including lots of home made cakes & biscuits, meats, cheeses, cereals, plus the option of scrambled eggs. Good space around the pool with some shaded areas.
