Really nice hostel with great facilities. Was one of our favorites during our ring road trip. Everything was very well maintained and clean. Great location right in town. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights during our August stay here.

Excellent value for money, great location with a view of the harbor. We stayed at the only room out of seven that was a four-bed dorm room, and only had one guest on the top bunk. These were the best bunk beds of all the hostels that I've stayed at - comfortable and well-designed. Spacious and conversation-inviting dining area overlooking the harbor. Small kitchen but sufficient for our needs. Very cute and comfortable hostel.

The hostel is in a great location close to everything. It is spacious yet cosy and has a good kitchen and eating area. The building has an interesting history having been the old hospital until the new one was built next door. The self check-in was easy. Our room was spacious, comfy and clean.

The room was exceptionally clean, quiet, and comfortable. The place looks like a youth hostel from the outside, but has very nice rooms. While there is no breakfast, there is a shared kitchen with an espresso machine that is always available for free coffee. The town is very pretty, and this place is a 5 minute walk to the center.

A great place to stay! I don’t usually like a hostel vibe because it feels too cramped, but this place is beautiful, convenient and spacious. Really lovely showers and a sauna downstairs. Really easy access to the washing machine and dryer (and at a fair price - the cheapest on our trip). Great kitchen. Would 100% stay again. Really friendly and helpful hosts too!

Definitely the best hostel in Iceland we were. It has own atmosphere here, because it is renovated old hospital with lots of nice details. Even though it was almost fully booked, the kitchen is really big and useful so you can all fit in. We had pretty big room for three people, clean and comfy beds, shared bathroom, but we had wash basin in the room which was nice. Stuff is nice and location is also perfect if you are visiting the town
