This is a budget hotel in a great location. The staff were amazing and friendly. They were welcoming of us and our dog, and just what we needed after a long drive. The hotel was clean and does exactly what it states.

Great location - friendly and accommodating staff. Liked the automatic bathroom low light that came on so saved fumbling / dazzle when up in the night. Also good to have a clothes hook in the bathroom. Also liked the detail on the tiles. Great I could leave my luggage in safe keeping too during the day.

A nice youth hostel set in a beautiful historic building, super close to the Old Jail and Castle. Kitchen is well-equipped and open 24 hours, the dorm is fine with ensuite toilet and shower (separate rooms). Basic but clean and comfy. You can tell the staff love working here as the common room had lots of Halloween decorations and they even left some Tunnocks out in the kitchen for late arrivals (thank you!).
