Probably one of the nicest hostels I’ve ever stayed in, in the UK. Clean, beautiful location, really big commercial kitchen, laundry, really nice common area

Cairngorm Lodge Youth Hostel is housed in a former Scottish shooting lodge, offering stunning views of the Northern Corries.

The nature surrounding Cairngorm Lodge is gorgeous and there's many different trails close by for beginners and veterans alike. The Hostel even has it's own restaurant which is good value for money. The staff were always really friendly and helpful and were able to help with any that may arise. But by far my favourite thing about the hostel was the "quiet room" with it's comfortable sofas and chairs. There's even newly renovated bathrooms/bath pods which are really slick looking. I can warmly recommend this Hostel to anyone staying in the Highlands. And I can also recommend Glenmore as it is breathtaking.

In the western region of the Cairngorms National Park, Insh Hall provides simple bed and breakfast accommodation at the Loch Insh Outdoor Centre.

What a place, location, value for money and very nice hosts. We got a chance to spend some time with the owner and he was very pleasant.

    Hyvä sijainti, rauhallinen hostelli. Suuret yhteiset tilat, mutta eivät makuualueitten yhteydessä, mikä oli hyvä. Hyvin varusteltu keittiö, jossa voi valmistaa ruoan. Hyvät ulkoilumaastot lähellä, mutta myös kylän keskus.
