This modern hostel is located in Murcia’s old town, just 200 metres from the cathedral. It offers bicycle rental and air-conditioned dormitory rooms with free Wi-Fi and a shared bathroom.

The Cathedral Hostel features ornate floor tiling. Many of the dormitories have a private balcony.

I liked the location and the building's structure.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Well organised rooms and space, good facilities like kitchen and shower rooms away from the bedrooms, mostly. Better, slightly comfier mattresses than many hostels. The location is about as central as you could get, with a view of the cathedral out of cute balconies over the main shopping district. had a well working air conditioner of the overhead cooled fan variety that worked well in 25-30C. it’s also lively with traveller backpacker types of course so great if you’re a single traveller looking to socialise a bit.

It had everything I needed. Great location, great breakfast with many options available. Easy access to all the many places to eat. Friendly, helpful staff. Personally, I’m a keen runner; Camino de la Cruz pathway to west of city only 5 min from hotel, providing a safe, civilised endless cycle/running trail with km markings. Excellent!

The staff were extremely lovely. Everything was super clean and the kitchen was great to cook in. Very cheap beers and drinks in the vending machine. Great little restaurant on the same property (not staffed by the same people) that had a great atmosphere. The pool was an absolute winner, great place to chill out. The whole hostel just had a very friendly and close vibe to it, felt very safe and even though there weren’t any lockers I felt really at ease about my stuff. The rooftop terrace is another added bonus, beautiful view.

Looks like business hotel but indeed its more a budget hotel. Nothing fancy, a bit ageing equpiment, but it was all perfect, nothing to complain. Hotels in Murcia were not cheap on that day but this hotel was cheaper than other hotels and just 10 minutes walk to the cathedral. It was quiet and i had good sleep there.
